Itty Bitty Edgar

Hi' I'm Edgar, And this is my story ! Rescued by Itty Bitty Acres , I had been neglected to the point of illness and malnutrition. After receiving continual medical care from the folks at Homestead Vet. Clinic, and much love and care from my new family, I have fully recovered and look forward to each and everyday. 'You see; there's more to the story.... Yep' I was rescued alright!, saved from a livestock auction where I was housed with a bunch of guys alot bigger than me, and some didn't even look like me. Oh' Yea !, The Doc guestimated my age at around 2-3 months old. I waited in the stall with the others, packed side by side like a can of sardines. I'm not complaining, because being packed in helped keep my boney body from falling to the wet ground and being trampled. I watched as some of the guys next door we're taken for their meeting with the auctioneer, I new I would be going next, so I tried to brush myself off and hold my head high with hopes of finding a real family. I just had to find a caring home or I was sure I wouldn't make it through winter. The doors opened and I was shoved into a lit up arena. I could see all the people waving their hands and shaking their heads, as the auctioneer gave discriptions and called bids. As I watch my friends, one by one, leave the arena going to a new home, I kept watching for anyone who might be interested in taking me home. The auctioneer opened the bid at 100.00, it was then that I spotted them. My new best friends ! Their offer was the winning bid, and I was now on my way to my new home. I was very sad to see all my friends go, and I can only hope that they all found good homes.
Itty Bitty "Mommie" (Sassy)
Itty Bitty Acres welcomes the newest member to their herd. Born June 24th, 2008 Itty Bitty "Spirit" Sassy is really a great mother who watches her foals every move. Spirit has been a hand-full every since he hit the ground. He carries himself with a mixture of pride and grace as he frolics around exploring his new surroundings. Anxious to see if he remains small like papa...
